THE LOVE GENERATOR CHALLENGE

The Love Generator Challenge is a challenge organized by Moving Walls Sdn Bhd in co-operation with ‘Malaysian Media Conference’ and 10 other leading industry segments.

 

The central theme of the challenge is ‘LOVE’ and it revolves around how to create an emotional connection between the consumer and the brand, which in turn would lead to  sustainable competitive advantages which companies today yearn for.

 

The aim of the challenge is to offer students in universities a professional experience as well as an opportunity to take the role of creative and interactive content provider to 10 leading brands or industry segments. The complete Challenge and the content development process will be mentored by ‘Love Gurus’, experienced industry veterans who will guide and mentor the teams of participants.

 

Highlights of the challenge include :

 

• Generating Digital, Social and Mobile Content around ‘Love’

 

• Amplifying ‘Love’ with 10 non-competing brands committed to ‘Love’

 

• Co-Creating content by Youth from universities, under auspices of :

 

• Inspiring a consumer Mega-Experience by displaying the content in the largest LEDs in Bukit Bintang

 

 

 

 

Moving Walls Sdn Bhd (MW) is a media solutions company that connects brands with consumers to deliver moving experiences. Moving Walls owns and operates the biggest LED Digital screens in Bukit Bintang on the façade of the Wolo hotel (The Tower), in Pavilion and Fahrenheit. Moving Walls specializes in interactive digital campaigns, harnessing the power of mobile devices and the internet, thereby enabling consumers on the street to directly interact with the brand campaigns on the LED screens. Moving Walls is currently in the process of commissioning yet another large interactive digital screen in Bukit Bintang “The Twins”.

 

Some of Moving Walls ideas and campaigns have won multiple industry awards both in Malaysia and Singapore.

 

 

 

REWARDS

ELIGIBILITY

• Students who are studying either an under-graduate or post-graduate program in a Malaysian institution of higher learning.

 

• Students who are both creative and passionate about digital media;  students could be from advertising, mass communications, marketing communication, graphics, art, design, new media or other relevant courses.

 

• Students who have not acquired considerable professional experience (except for internships, apprenticeships or summer job experiences).

 

• All participants should register in a team of between 3-5 members.

 

• Members of a team must all be enrolled at the same school or university. The students can register as a team or be grouped into teams by the local university or school supervisors. Each student is only allowed to register once.

 

• All teams need to designate a team member as a team leader and a university faculty as a team coach.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZER

• RM 18,000 worth of cash and vouchers - One grand prize of RM 8,000 for the winning team and the 10 other winners will get RM 1,000  each.

 

• The grand prize winner will get an opportunity to present at the 10th Malaysian Media Conference on November 11th.

 

• The Team leader of each of the winning teams and one supporting university supervisor will be provided a free pass to the 10th Malaysian Media Conference on 11th of November.
